Meet The Team
Anna Richards is a Business Advisor and founder of 2020 Consulting. Anna provides expertise in business succession planning, management accounting system design and implementation, and financial analysis. She holds an MBA from both Cornell University and Queen’s University, a bachelor’s in Agricultural Business Management from the State University of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill, and is a graduate of LEAD NY and the Cornell Dairy Executive Program. In her free time she serves on the board of the New York Agricultural Land Trust and the Skaneateles Early Childhood Center, volunteers with a local 4H club, and enjoys just about anything that involves horses, kids and cows.
Stephanie is an Accounting Specialist with 2020 Consulting, who brings expertise in financial accounting and record keeping systems both in and out of the agricultural industry. She grew up in the countryside of northern NJ before attending Cornell University to study animal science with a focus in business. She worked as an accounting and tax specialist in the ag industry for five years before becoming a full time work-at-home mom, and then joined us here at 2020. Along the way she married a wonderful dairy farmer named Tyler and enjoys going to Cornell hockey games with their son Addison.
Anna Smith is a Business Advisor with 2020 Consulting, who brings expertise in a broad spectrum of financial management with a background in agricultural lending, a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, and a dual MS/MBA from Purdue University in Food and Agribusiness Management. She grew up on a ranch in Oregon, and has worked extensively with a variety of agricultural industries, in particular grain, fruit, and vegetable operations. Anna also serves on the Orleans County Farm Bureau board of directors, and in her spare time enjoys distance running with her dog and tending to her garden during the summer months.
Ashley Bliss is a Financial Analyst with 2020 Consulting. Her background and passion in dairy business management along with her expertise in data management and analytics brings her to the 2020 team. Ashley possesses an invaluable combination of skills, having worked in financial analysis for the dairy industry at the University level as well as in production. She is a soon to be graduate of Kansas State’s Master of Agribusiness program and holds a bachelor’s in Animal Science from Cornell University. Beyond her work with 2020, Ashley is an adjunct instructor at Alfred State College and enjoys spending time with her family and animals.
Danielle Todd is an Accounting Specialist with 2020 Consulting. Danielle is a graduate of SUNY Cortland with her bachelor's in Business and Economics and is currently pursuing her Master's in Accounting from Amherst School of Management. Prior to joining 2020, she worked in Crop Insurance to serve the agricultural industry. She grew up in the small town of Homer, New York where she developed a strong passion for all things ag. In her free time, Danielle and her husband Chris operate an equine business, compete at horse shows, and love to do anything outdoors.
Whitney Cobb is an Accounting Specialist with 2020 Consulting. She grew up in Central New York on her family’s beef farm and studied Business at Cazenovia College. Prior to joining 2020 she worked in higher education finance for four years, and brings her experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budget planning to the team. In her free time, it’s likely Whitney is either in the saddle or enjoying time with her family, friends, and dogs.
Sondra McMahon is an Executive Assistant with 2020 Consulting. She grew up in Homer, NY where she learned to ride and was raised around horses. Sondra studied Actuarial Science at Binghamton University and, prior to joining 2020 Consulting, worked locally for 2 years developing skills in finance, Excel, and organization. In her free time, Sondra can be found outside with her horses and her dog, Goose.
Kendall joins 2020 Consulting as a passionate and motivated Business Advisor and Project Manager, who specializes in the ag labor sector, on-farm human resources, and business development. She holds a passion for the people that advance the ag industry and promotes business and team development from within. She holds undergraduate degrees in Industrial and Labor Relations and Agribusiness Management from Cornell University, and is currently pursuing a Master in Agricultural Economics from Purdue and MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She is currently finishing her thesis on technological opportunities within hay production, where she is applying her affinity for research with her passion for equine nutrition. She has experience as an ag labor consultant, an analyst for a large finance corporation, and a project manager within the distribution sector. Kendall grew up on an equine operation in Central Oklahoma, and carries on the tradition today in North Texas, riding and showing Quarter Horses. In her spare time, Kendall can be found on the back of a horse, whether it be chasing cattle and opening gates in Southwest Oklahoma, or in the show pen at a horse show.
James Clement III
James serves as a Managing Director with 2020 Consulting. James brings his broad-based experience combined with a passion for agribusiness stewardship and land sustainability, which he emulates in his full time role at King Ranch as the Land Resource Manager. Both sides of James’ family are in generational family business: his mother’s with Beggs Cattle Co., and his father’s with King Ranch. He has led recruitment, operations, transition, communication, and succession planning in these and other family organizations. James also founded Bloody Buckets Cattle Company and Juntos Pastoral Company. He has served since 2008 in the Marine Corps, currently as an infantry officer in the reserves, as a managing director of Beggs Ranches, a trustee and member of the marketing and development committees of the National World War II Museum, Director and Vice Chairman of the Natural Resources and Wildlife Committee of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, a director and Chairman of the Public Policy Committee of the American Quarter Horse Association, a founding director and and on the executive committee of the Houston Chapter of the Private Director’s Association, and a director of the National Ranching Heritage Center, Epiphany Montessori School, and Equine Initiative at Texas A&M. James earned his BA in Communications and Media Studies from Goucher College, and an MBA from Cornell University. He was recognized as a “2020 Next Gen to Watch” from Family Business Magazine. James is married to the former Miss Paige Shaw, and they have one son, James “Jimmy” Higbie Clement IV. The family lives on a ranch in South Texas where they raise cattle and horses.
