Meet The Team
Anna provides expertise in business succession planning, management accounting system design and implementation, and financial analysis. She holds an MBA from both Cornell University and Queen’s University, a bachelor’s in Agricultural Business Management from the State University of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. She was recently named to the Cornell Johnson School of Management's 10 Under 10 Distinguished Alumni, and is a graduate of LEAD NY and the Cornell Dairy Executive Program. In her free time she serves on the board of the New York Agricultural Land Trust, volunteers with a local 4H club, and enjoys just about anything that involves horses, kids and cows.
Anna Richards
Stephanie Beck
Stephanie brings expertise in financial accounting and record keeping systems both in and out of the agricultural industry. She grew up in the countryside of northern NJ before attending Cornell University to study animal science with a focus in business. She worked as an accounting and tax specialist in the ag industry for five years before becoming a full time work-at-home mom, and then joined us here at 2020. Along the way she married a wonderful dairy farmer named Tyler and enjoys going to Cornell hockey games with their children.
Ashley Bliss
Ashley's background and passion in dairy business management along with her expertise in data management and analytics brings her to the 2020 team. Ashley possesses an invaluable combination of skills, having worked in financial analysis for the dairy industry at the University level and in production. She is a graduate of Kansas State’s Master of Agribusiness program and holds a bachelor’s in Animal Science from Cornell University. Beyond her work with 2020, Ashley is an adjunct instructor and enjoys spending time gardening.
Whitney Cobb
Whitney is a dedicated member of not only our team, but of every business she serves, and makes it a point to treat the success of each of her clients as her own. She grew up in Central New York on her family’s beef farm and studied Business at Cazenovia College. Prior to joining 2020 she worked in higher education finance for four years, and brings her experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budget planning to the team. In her free time, it’s likely Whitney is either in the saddle or enjoying time with her family, friends, and dogs.
Emily McGowty
Emily is a passionate, energetic problem solver who provides expertise in everything from accounting and bookkeeping to structuring whole office management systems. She grew up in Rotterdam, NY where her interest in agriculture led her to an Associate Degree in Equine Science and Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business Development from The State University of New York at Morrisville. She began her professional career at 2020 Consulting as an intern, and since then has continued to expand and diversify her skillset. In her free time, Emily enjoys riding horses and spending time with her friends, family and dogs.
Alyson Casler
Alyson is a dedicated, conscientious professional who brings attention to detail and meticulous care to the work she does. She currently balances her time between managing our payroll program, and providing direct accounting services to clients. She grew up in West Winfield NY on her family’s Dairy Farm. Her love for agriculture and the dairy industry led her to State University Of New York At Cobleskill where she received a Bachelors in Agriculture Business Management. In her free time Alyson enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and dog.
Meagan Edwards
Meagan grew up on a large jersey farm in Eastern New York, and then continued her education in Agriculture at SUNY Cobleskill. Since then she has developed a strong accounting and finance background to augment her technical industry knowledge, making her a perfect addition to the 2020 Consulting team. In her spare time, Meagan enjoys being outside gardening, camping and playing with her son.
Erica Leubner
Erica grew up on a small dairy and married a dairy and crop farmer. Together with their three daughters, they operate Tim’s Pumpkin Patch, a pumpkin farm and agritourism venue. Her daughters are heavily involved in the farm, the pumpkin patch, and are now rapidly growing their own businesses as the Nyfarmgirls through social media, allowing her to put all of her experience in business development, family business management, and communications to work supporting them in their growth. Erica has her Master's degree in Social Work for Syracuse University, and is trained in mediation and conflict resolution. She has spent the past 10 years working directly with farm businesses, individuals, and families on everything from interpersonal communications and working through conflicts, to managing stress, to depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
Sara Norman
Sara provides administrative support to the team here at 2020. Sara grew up in the equine industry, and received her AS in Veterinary Technology and BT in Equine Science. Outside of her role at 2020, Sara works for the United States Department of Agriculture, and coaches an Interscholastic Equestrian Team. She can often be found with her two shadows, her daughters Hayden and Taylor, who also ride competitively.
